There are two separate payments. The Wafid booking (slip) fee is paid online in US dollars. In October 2026 the booking page showed $10 for a Standard appointment and $25 for a Premium one, where you choose the centre and date. The examination fee is paid to the approved medical centre. Neither Wafid nor the Gulf Health Council publishes that amount for India, so get it from the centre in writing.
How much are GAMCA medical fees in India in 2026?

The Wafid programme is run by the Gulf Health Council (GHC), and wafid.com is where people going to work or live in a GCC country book the medical. The money goes to two different places. The booking, or slip, fee is paid by card on wafid.com before you get an appointment slip. The examination fee is paid to the GCC-accredited medical centre that examines you. The Wafid FAQ, booking page and regulations we read on 28 October 2026 give the booking fees but not the centre's fee.
This guide only covers fees and payment. To check a result, see GAMCA medical report check. For what the medical is and how long a fit report lasts, see GAMCA medical for Gulf jobs.
The $10 Standard fee and the $10 e-system registration fee in the GHC rules look like the same charge described in two places, because the FAQ says the appointment costs "$10 per applicant". Nothing we read says you pay $10 twice. Fees are set by the GCC Council of Health Ministers, and Article 9 of the regulations says they are reviewed and adjusted regularly. Confirm the amount on the booking page before you pay.

| Stamping medical papers at a GCC embassy or consulate | Not stated on the pages we read | The embassy, consulate or its appointed agency | Indian Embassy Kuwait leaflet says the papers must be stamped. It gives no fee. |
| Indian recruitment agent's service charge | Capped at INR 30,000, exclusive of GST | A registered recruitment agent, if you use one | Indian Embassy Kuwait legal-migration leaflet |
The booking page describes the Standard appointment as a basic appointment scheduled by availability, with no customisation. It describes the Premium appointment as a flexible booking where you choose the medical centre and the appointment date. Going by those descriptions, the extra money buys choice of centre and date only. Neither page says Premium includes the examination, a faster result or a better chance of being declared fit.
The official pages are not fully consistent. The FAQ still says the applicant cannot choose a medical centre and that the appointment costs $10, which reads as if it was written before the Premium option existed. Follow what the live booking page shows for India on the day you book. If Premium is not offered for your city, the Standard booking is the official route.
Every new appointment means a new slip and a new booking fee. The official pages describe these situations:
The MEA page on emigration for employment says 17 countries are currently in the Emigration Check Required category; that page was last updated on 16 May 2016. The Indian Embassy in Kuwait's leaflet says the medical must be done at GAMCA-approved laboratories in India before applying for emigration clearance. It adds that the original visa, medical papers and police clearance certificate must be stamped by the Kuwait Embassy or Consulate in India first. Plan your medical fee and slip validity around those steps. See ECR passport and the eMigrate portal guide.

In October 2026 the Wafid booking page showed a $10 Standard or $25 Premium appointment fee, paid online. The examination fee is paid separately to the accredited centre, and no official page we read states it for India. Ask the centre for a written price before your test.
The slip comes from the Wafid booking. As shown by wafid.com in October 2026, a Standard appointment costs $10 and a Premium appointment, where you choose the centre and date, costs $25. You reprint a slip you already paid for from the Appointment Slips page, and the FAQ mentions no fee for this.
The booking page says Standard ($10) is scheduled by availability without customisation, while Premium ($25) lets you choose the medical centre and appointment date. Wafid's pages do not say Premium gives a faster result or covers the examination fee.
The GHC Financial Rules list the e-system registration fee as non-refundable. The Wafid FAQ covers two problems: paying twice, and paying without getting a slip. For both it tells you to email Wafid support with payment proof. Refund requests made more than three months after payment are not considered under the same rules.
No official page says it does. The regulations describe the $10 as an e-system registration fee for booking through the programme. The examination is done and charged by the accredited centre, and that fee is not published by Wafid or the Gulf Health Council.
Yes, a new slip needs a new booking. The FAQ says you can change city only after the current slip expires, and you can rebook 2 months after an existing report date. Correcting wrong details through the centre's change request is free.
Indian recruitment agents' service charges are capped at INR 30,000 excluding GST, according to the Indian Embassy in Kuwait's leaflet. Paying an agent for a slip or a guaranteed fit result is a red flag. Book on wafid.com yourself and get receipts for every payment.
The Wafid FAQ says to email Wafid support with your nationality, payment date and time, passport number, full name, card and cardholder details, email, a copy of the card and a bank statement showing the payment. Use only the support address shown on wafid.com.
The regulations let anyone file a written complaint about the expatriate medical with the Gulf Health Council, within two weeks of the event, with evidence. The listed violations include not following local regulations and prices. Keep the centre's receipt and written quote.
